New VIBE resource now available!
The new VIBE for Information Technology is now available to purchase. This resource can be tailored to a range of IT qualifications, including the diploma, OCR Nationals, GCSEs and BTECs. It gives learners the depth of understanding of what it is like to work in the real world. It includes learning activities, teacher guidance, multi-media resources and video interviews with IT professionals. Together these provide the learner with access to real-life scenarios as well as an understanding of career opportunities and pathways in IT.
The VIBE IT resource is set in a theme park and includes locations that reflect all the business operations and wider site services that benefit from IT systems. Learners discover issues relating to this sector such as security, safety, control, ticketing and other business systems, recording and monitoring and retail stock management systems. The theme park setting will be highly engaging for learners whilst many of the locations will provide teachers and learners with access to understanding use of IT in a variety of business environments.
