Forum Rules

The aim of the Forum is to provide a place to discuss and share best practice for using the VIBE.

Rules

  • Negative or abusive remarks about other contributors or people will not be tolerated.
  • Avoid personal attacks on the character or intelligence of others.
  • Derogatory or inappropriate comments regarding race, gender, disability, age, religion or sexual orientation are not allowed.
  • Foul or abusive language is not allowed.
  • Do not type everything in UPPER CASE as your comments are more difficult to read and will be interpreted as SHOUTING.
  • Do not quote lines of text from another comment, just to add 'agree'? (or similar) at the bottom; not everyone has a fast connection to the net and many people pay for their online time.
  • Do not 'Spam' the Forum. Messages that are not relevant will be deleted.
  • Do not post just for the sake of it - try to encourage constructive discussion.
  • Comments promoting commercial sites or services will be deleted. You can mention websites as long as they are relevant to your comment.
  • Do not post your personal contact details or those of anyone else.
  • If you posting on behalf of an organisation or operator, please make sure that you indicate this in your response.
  • Do not impersonate other people.
  • You are prohibited from posting or transmitting any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, offensive or scandalous material, or any material that constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, likely to give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violates any law.

Administration

The Forum is administered daily by our staff. We will consider all postings and will usually decide whether to post a response on the site within three days. However, if some new relevant developments arise at a later date, we may add to the topic at that stage. We reserve the right to delete and block individual postings or contributors who fail to abide by the rules of the Forum.

If you have any questions or concerns on the subject of Forum administration, or if you see anything which you feel does not fit in with the ethos of the Forum, please contact us.
