About the VIBE
The VIBE
Working in partnership, the SSAT and the University of Salford consulted Diploma lead practitioners and industry experts to create 3D virtual worlds for the 14-19 curriculum.
The VIBE is a suite of educational resources that offers learners a range of practical activities and experiences in a series of virtual worlds. The VIBE can be tailored to the needs of individual learners or groups of learners immersing them in the industry or real world setting they are studying. Their work can be stored so that over time they build up a personalised electronic portfolio.
It is a fully flexible resource allowing practitioners to set activities, upload existing educational resources and create a world filled with bespoke educational experiences.
Each line of learning resource will help you meet the requirements of 14-19 work-related learning, including the Diploma, by:
- supporting the personal, learning and thinking skills agenda
- supporting functional skills
- encouraging independent working, self management reflective learning and creative participation.
The product is being used in schools and colleges across the country, with an extremely positive response.
